Hello everyone!!!! I am happy to tell you that my first art show was a blast. I had the opportunity to share the art with friends and family, it was such a rewarding experience. My folks were really excited for me :) I also sold one of the pieces!!!!!!!! I encourage you all to keep creating and spreading your energy!!!! We are LOVE!!!!!

I am in sunny California and getting over a summer cold. During my time off work I was able to get into my canvas pieces. One night of doubt and uncertainty led to frustration and quick additions to one of the pieces. The next night I felt much more comfortable and free, I blasted some Tom Waits and got in the grove of the present moment.  Both methods are powerful in their own right.  I am aware of the fear that is present when an idea develops, but I'm in a place where I'm ready to conquer no matter the outcome.  It's such a powerful state to be fearless in all that we are passionate about. My name is Julia Rauda and I am excited to take part in this massive art community. I have always been drawn to colors and movement, it is what inspires me to create. I hope to use this site as fuel to learn and expand my artistic abilities. I have been asked to share my art on September 20, 2009 at El Cid(Historic Los Angeles Dinner Theater).  This is my first show and I am thrilled to share the experience with all the wonderful people in my life.
